DAVI and JOVIDA Psychotherapy Associates provide exceptionally high quality, uniquely designed offices for psychiatrists and psychotherapists in six locations in Manhattan

Founded more than 20 years ago by David Sumberg and Vivian Ubell who discovered that their own need for really good quality offices as therapists was not being satisfactorily catered for, they set out to build and design spaces with top quality facilities for therapists, tastefully decorated and furnished waiting areas, and good sized sound proofed offices that each therapist can furnish and decorate to their own specification and taste.

Our biggest suite contains 16 offices and our smallest is just 5. All include a kitchen for use by therapists, and bathrooms within the suite exclusively for the use of therapists and their clients. High speed fibre internet, air conditioning, heat, light, cleaning of the common parts and consumables are all included.

Over the years the business has grown to over 100 offices but David and Vivian, who were joined 15 years ago by their partner, Oscar winning film and television director Jon Blair, have never lost sight of their original vision. This means that as a Davi or Jovida tenant therapists are secure in the knowledge that their landlord not only fully understands their needs, but is also flexible and responsive as circumstances change. Perhaps the best testimony to the relationship we have with our tenants is that as time has passed many have become personal friends.

Finally if you don’t feel you can currently handle a full time lease we have one or two furnished offices that we could rent on a daily basis. We are also more than happy for our full time tenants to sub-let days in their office to one or more other therapists.

We are acutely aware that in these difficult times therapists are facing unprecedented challenges and we continue to do our best to assist in whatever way we can.
